Colour matching and ink mixing service
Kaye-Dee offer a service for formulating printed colour matches onto coloured substrates, giving the printer even greater flexibility. We can match colours to Pantone, RAL or to a sample print. We can also supply ready mixed colour matches for both pad and screen printing inks with a small minimum quantity of 1kg. Kaye-Dee can even supply test pots, 100ml, with a mixing charge.

The raw materials used meet with the limits stipulated by the EEC regulation EN 71 (Safety of Toys), part 3 (Migration of Certain Elements) of December 1994.
What is Pad Printing?
The pad printing process uses a silicone rubber printing pad to transfer ink from an etched printing plate directly on to the component.
The flexibility of the printing pad means that curved or uneven surfaces can be printed easily. Multi-colour and process colour images can be printed using a component shuttle or a carousel system. The printing of very fine detail is also possible.
Pad printing was developed for the watch industry and is still used today by the world’s leading watch manufacturers.
Other applications include the printing of automotive components, medical devices and a huge range of plastic moulded parts which require printing.
